Knowing as cool and friendly as Farah Khan is, one might be quite shocked to read her recent tweet on the micro-blogging website condemning a certain “mannerless people” who would refrain from giving a simple call to invite her to the film screening and instead send her a WhatsApp text. Or, how she likes to call it, “janta invite.” And among those invites, one was of the screening of Kapil Sharma‘s film Firangi. According to a report in SpotboyE, the one of the people Farah Khan was indicating to in her fiery tweet was the popular comedian, who had sent him an invite for the screening of his film via a WhatsApp text. Disgruntled, Farah wrote in her tweet, “Dear Mannerless people, if u want me 2 attend ur premier/preview/party DON’T send me a “janta invite” on WhatsApp! U r not doing me a favour! The least u can do is make a personal call. If u can’t find the time for it what makes u think I have time 2 get ready n cm for you??!” ALSO READ: Shah Rukh Khan And Abhishek Bachchan Are The Real Kings Of Comedy; Feels Firangi Actor Kapil Sharma Also Read - Dil Bechara News: Mukesh Chhabra Reveals Farah Khan Choreographed Sushant Singh Rajput's Song For Free
When contacted, Farah Khan told SpotboyE, “It was not just Kapil Sharma. There were two to three other events happening on the same day. I was referring to all of them.” And the supposed lack of courtesy didn’t seemingly impress most of the big stars from his huge guestlist of the amount of stars that appear on his show. And so, Himesh Reshammiya, Abbas-Mustan, Palak Muchhal, Ravi Dubey and Nora Fatehi were the biggest names on his guestlist. Firangi isn’t getting the best reviews either. The film starring Ishita Dutt and Monica Gill alongside Kapil released on December 1.
