New Delhi [India], Sept 27: Amidst the threats by the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan has left India before the release of his upcoming Karan Johar flick Ae Dil Hai Mushkil on October 28. According to Pakistani media, a source from Dharma Productions said that the Khoobsurat actor has left India, as his wife is about to deliver a baby in September 2016. The MNS had last week given an ultimatum to the Pakistani artistes to leave India within 48 hours or face consequences in the wake of the Uri terror attack.

This order, backed by the Shiv Sena, came after tension between the two Asian neighbours escalated to a new level post the terror attack in which 18 Indian army soldiers were martyred in a dastardly terror attack on an army base camp in Uri sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The party also warned that it would not allow the release of the upcoming Ae Dil Hai Mushqil and Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Raees as the movies star Pakistani actors Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan respectively. This threat by the MNS follows that from a blogger, who in a post told Fawad to leave the country.
