The Marvel Cinematic Universe’s latest flick Avengers: Infinity War bombed at Indian box office and Marvel is all set to release their next offering Deadpool 2 in India. The Fox Star Studios do not want to leave any leaf unturned to make the movie a success in the country. They have already taken the first step by making the anti-hero film localize for the Indian audiences. Much has been already said about Ranveer Singh dubbing Ryan Reynold’s voice for the Hindi version.
The movie’s trailer is loved and received well by the Indian audiences and by making the movie localize might garner them more numbers at the box office. Fox Star Studios has also created multiple regional language versions of the trailer which includes Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, and Bhojpuri. All the four versions were customized in a way to retain the essence of Hollywood version while also catering to the taste of Indian local audiences.
Vijay Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Fox Star Studios spoke to a leading daily and he said, “Ryan Reynolds’ funny, subversive anti-superhero is loved by one and all across the world. Deadpool is a huge brand in India, but for this installment, we made sure that the character becomes even more accessible to fans across markets – for the Hindi dub, we approached Ranveer since his wit and edgy personality was a perfect fit with Deadpool.”
The film has been tied up a beer brand and a chips brand. Moreover, the film has collaborated with YouTuber Bhuvan Ram to voice one of the characters in the film and to promote promotional content across his social media platforms.
Ryan Reynold’s starrer Deadpool is slated to release on May 18.
