In her own words, Saba has described her novel as the perfect mix of “Bridget Jones’s Diary” and “The Diary of a Social Butterfly.” The film garnered attention when the poster and teaser released. After seeing her kick some butt in Akira and Force 2, fans loved Sonakshi’s goofy avatar as Noor. The song Gulaabi Aankhein, which has been reprised in the film as Gulabi 2.0 has also been received well. Sonakshi Sinha as Noor is hopeless of finding love given her banal and boring job. The month promises a decent dose of entertainment for all as most of the films, barring Begum Jaan are fit for family audience. Vidya Balan’s film recently went under the censor board’s knife and had to undergo 12 cuts. The actresses playing sex workers in the film are said to be using a lot of cuss words which the CBFC had a problem with. Well, it is a bold subject and we hope the cuts do not dilute the essence of the story. While all these movies have interesting subjects, Bollywood films releasing in April 2017 will have to ride on a strong word of mouth since this is also holiday season where people will be travelling and also entertaining guests. Amid this, footfalls might see a decline. Do stay tuned in to India.com to know all movie reviews and box office collections.
