Winter might have finally come, but not for long. David Benioff and Dan Weiss plan to wrap up the epic fantasy saga Game of Thrones within 13 episodes after GOT Season 6 is finished, which will start airing on 24th April. These 13 episodes of Game of Thrones will be divided in two seasons;  7 episodes in season 7 and 6 episodes in final season 8, compared to the typical length of 10 episodes per season. This might be sad news for GOT fans, however, this deviation does indicate a much stronger and fast paced plot line. This announcement is still not set in stone though; David Benioff and Dan Weiss are yet to talk with HBO to confirm their plans, and being the most unpredictable show that it is, who knows what turn it might take.
