Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya is always in news for the wrong reasons. The singer who made wrote some insensitive tweets on Salman Khan is once again ranting via his official Twitter handle. This time it is about Pakistan Ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali. The concert of Ghulam Ali was made a big issue with post objection by the Shiv Sena. The party threatened that they will disrupt the concert if it happens. They also assured that they will not let any Pakistani artist to perform here as long as terror attacks from across the border continues.
Many known personalities of the music industry and the Bollywood industry started the debate about the whole issue. Now Abhijeet Bhattacharya has also commented about the same. The first tweet, post it was announced that the concert was cancelled said: #GhulamGigCancelled Kitni baar bhagaya but these shameless have no self respect no work except terrorism but we feed them along with prestitutes.
He went on to even take a dig at Mahesh Bhatt and said, “These qawwals don’t come here on their merit but due to Pakistan Dalals #prestitute and @MaheshNBhatt.”
Abhijeet called the Ghazal singer a dengue artist from a terrorist country Pakistan. He claims that the nation and patriotism comes first to him (sic) and went on to rant about how the media is anti national and the Hindu political parties fail to take action against these artists. It is rather depressing to see artists talking crass about other talented artists with bias.
Ghulam Ali on the whole issue said, ”It is very, very sad. I am a little worried also. I came to know about it (the cancellation) after I came here. But more than me, my fans are disheartened as they were waiting for it. But I will keep coming because I love my fans.”
