Congratulations Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava !

After Shahid Kapoor–Mira Rajput, Sania Mirza–Shoaib Malik, and Neil Nitin Mukesh–Rukmini Sahay, it’s Karan Patel and wife Ankita Bhargava, who have now announced their pregnancy in the most unique way possible. Each of them had some novel pregnancy ideas but it was Karan and Ankita’s that stole the show. Karan took to Instagram to share the picture of him holding several shopping bags, all signalling that the baby is on its way. Ankita, on the other hand, is flaunting her baby bump in a hot green dress while on the phone. Karan gave the pic a goofy look, with the headline, “Yeh Diwali Hogi Babywali”. The picture looks like a movie poster and we just can’t help but smile.

Within minutes of him sharing the good news, friends of the actor, such as Anita Hassanandani, Rohit Reddy, Aly Goni, Ankita Lokhande, Nakuul Mehta, Vahbiz Dorabjee, couldn’t contain their happiness and congratulated the soon to be couple. Ankita is currently in her second semester and hubby Karan is doing everything in his part to make his lady love happy.

The news of Karan and Ankita expecting their first child had been doing the rounds for quite sometime, but the actor had been dismissing the rumours, calling it false. With the unique poster, Karan has thus made it official and we couldn’t be happier for the couple. Speaking about the big news, Karan told The Bombay Times, “It’s sinking in slowly, and I am ecstatic. I can’t go through the emotions and transformations, which Ankita is going through. It’s a beautiful phase for her as she will graduate from a wife to a mother. I plan to spoil our baby silly with love and pampering once he/she is born. We would like to have two kids – both Ankita and I are the only children of our parents and we understand the need for a sibling.” Well, we can totally get their excitement as we too can’t seem to calm down after hearing the news.
