Riya Sen made her Bollywood debut in the year 2001 with the comedy film ‘Style’. Riya Sen has done dozens of films in her Bollywood career, but most of the films were unsuccessful at the box office. According to the report of Box Office India, after the film ‘Apna Sapna Money Money’ released in 2006, 12 consecutive films of the actress were flops.
After giving 12 back-to-back flop films, Riya Sen distanced herself from the film industry and got married. In 2017, the actress married Shivam Tiwari. Before marriage, the actress had also made a lot of headlines with her relationship. Riya Sen’s sister Raima Sen also tried her luck in Bollywood. She appeared in the Daman and Bengali film Chokher Bali. She appeared in films like Parineeta, Das, and Antar Mahal. Raima Sen has been a well-known name in Bengali films.
