The makers of Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Gully Boy’ have finally wrapped up its shoot. Recently, Alia took to social media to announce that the shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film Gully Boy has concluded and that she would miss the film’s set. Now, Ranveer, who recently wrapped up his shooting for Zoya’s upcoming film, took to social media handle to share an adorable post for his director on Sunday evening. Thanking her for everything, he shared a picture with her on Instagram and wrote, “Bae & I made for each other I love you @zoieakhtar thank you for this unique and unforgettable experience #gullyboy.”
Earlier, Zoya had taken to social media to announce the wrap of the film’s schedule. She even thanked the ‘best crew’ of her film. Reportedly, the team wrapped up the shoot of the film with a bang. They had a blast on the last day of shoot as they celebrated it with cake, selfies, pictures and of course a few lines rapped by Ranveer himself. Alongside a picture of the delicious cake, Zoya wrote, “It’s A Wrap. Helmed by Zoya Akhtar and bankrolled by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s Excel Entertainment, the film is an upcoming musical drama, where will be seen portraying the role of the Mumbai street rapper and the actor has been prepping hard to step into his character. Gully Boy is expected to release in February 2019. On the professional front, Ranveer has Kabir Khan’s 83 (Kapil Dev biopic) and Rohit Shetty’s Simmba lined up. Watch this space for further updates.
