Chennai: Popular Tamil music director and actor GV Prakash Kumar and his wife Sainshavi have decided to part ways after 11 years of marriage, on May 13th GV and his wife confirmed their separation through a social media post. Read on.

GV Prakash and Saindhavi Announce Separation After 11 Years

GV Prakash took to Instagram to announce that the couple had mutually decided to part ways with each other. The announcement was made just over a month ahead of their 11th wedding anniversary. GV penned, “After much reflection, Saindhavi and I have decided to part ways after 11 years of marriage, for the sake of our mental peace and betterment while preserving our mutual respect for each other (sic).”

He further added, “We kindly ask the media, friends and fans to understand and respect our privacy during this deeply personal transition. Acknowledging that we are growing apart, we believe this is the best decision for each other. Your understanding and support means a lot during this difficult time. Thank You (sic).”

GV Prakash and Saindhavi’s Relationship

GV Prakash and Saindhavi’s relationship began as friends, blossoming into love and culminating in their 2013 wedding. Their family grew further with the arrival of their daughter, Anvi, in 2020. In 2023, Saindhavi expressed her love publicly, calling GV Prakash the “love of her life” in a heartfelt Instagram post for their 10th wedding anniversary.

GV Prakash’s Work Front

G.V. Prakash has been on a roll this year, in just the first five months of 2024, he’s impressed audiences with his talent for both composing and acting.
His noticeable works include the tracks from “Captain Miller” starring Dhanush, “Siren” featuring Jayam Ravi, and the action-packed “Mission: Chapter 1” with Arun Vijay.
