Veteran actor Dharmendra has turned a year older today. He is one of the most celebrated stars in the history of Hindi cinema. From romancing beautiful ladies on the silver screen to bashing up villains, he did it all with perfection. He continues to rule million hearts even now. The actor made his Bollywood debut with Arjun Hingorani’s Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere in 1960. He then went on to feature in many romantic movies and established himself as a charmer in the era dominated by legends like Dev Anand and Dilip Kumar. He worked with veteran actress Hema Malini in films like Seeta Aur Geeta, Sharafat and Sholay. It was being said that both of them fell in love during this time. They eventually got married. In her autobiography, Beyond the Dream Girl, the actress herself revealed, “I liked him. I couldn’t deny that he was attractive and strong and there was an air of serenity about him.
