Actor Dulquer Salmaan is currently in the limelight for some obvious reasons. The popular actor of the south is spreading his wings in Bollywood as he is all set to make Hindi film debut with Irrfan Khan starrer Karwaan. Not only this, he has also signed Zoya Factor in which he will be seen sharing the screen space with actress Sonam Kapoor. Son of Malayalam superstar Mammootty, Salmaan was born with a silver spoon. Before pursuing a career in acting, Dulquer worked as a business manager. He made his acting debut in 2012 with Second Show and it was the magic of his spectacular acting, people started to call him the shadow of his superstar father.  After that he featured in many Malayalam films like Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi, Bangalore Days and maintained a fine balance between commercial and content-driven cinema.  In fact, he was honoured with the best actor award at the 46th Kerala State Film Awards for his performance in Charlie. The movie won eight top honours at the event. In 2015, Salmaan’s popularity rose to some other level when his Tamil film OK Kanmani directed by Mani Ratnam hit the screens. He also made his Telugu debut with bi-lingual film Mahanati. He played the role of Gemini Ganesan in the movie based on the life of legendary actor Savitri.

Now, people are eagerly waiting to watch Dulquer spelling magic with Karwaan. The movie is all set to hit the screens on August 3.
