Prineeti Chopra who started her career in Bollywood seven years back with the romantic comedy Ladies vs Ricky Bahl (2007) turned 30 today.  She is a successful actor today but you will be surprised to know that the actor had no plans of entering the film industry. Parineeti who holds a triple honours degree in business, finance and economics from Manchester Business School was initially planning to pursue a career in investment banking. She had to return to India due to the recession there and then joined Yash Raj Films as a public relations consultant. For her first film, the actor even won  Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut and a Best Supporting Actress nomination.

Parineeti would accompany her sister Priyanka Chopra for shoots and when the Ishazaade actor saw Priyanka prepare for Saat Khoon Maaf, her respects for actors grew. She has worked with filmmaker Maneesh Sharma on Band Baaja Baraat and then decided to study acting to become a full-time actor.
