Hello New Poster: Akhil Akkineni All Set To Clash With Salman Khan – Katrina Kaif’s Tiger Zinda Hai On December 22

The film is an action thriller starring Akhil with debutant Kalyani Priyadarshan

Akhil Akkineni is all set to win hearts with his dare devil action in action-thriller Hello. A new poster of the film was just released a few minutes back and it has only upped the excitement amongst fans. Interestingly, the poster also announced the teaser release date as November 16, sending social media in frenzy.

Written and directed by Vikram Kumar, the film will also star Kalyani Priyadarshan as the female lead. For the uninitiated, she is filmmaker Priyadarshan’s daughter and hence there is quite a lot of buzz to see this star kid jodi together on the big screen. While this is Kalyani’s debut film, it is also an important one for Akkineni Nagarjuna’s younger son Akhil, since his first film (Akhil – 2015) didn’t meet expectations.

The first poster of Hello, which came out in August, saw Akhil trying to balance himself at the edge of a sky-scraper. And the new one again promises to present the young hero in an action avatar. However, while buzz is that Hello is a high-octane actioner, we hear that there will be a romantic angle as well to appeal to a wide variety of audience. Interestingly, Hello is slated to release on December 22, the same day as Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif’s Tiger Zinda Hai.

Interestingly, there was buzz that Tamil superstar Chiyaan Vikram, postponed the release of his film Sketch to next year to avoid a clash with Salman’s film. The trailer of this sequel to this Ali Abbas Zafar directorial has been received well and the buzz is huge across various regions in the country. In such a scenario, a box office clash with Tiger Zinda Hai may not be a wise decision. There was buzz that Hello might too get preponed or pushed for a later date to avoid the huge competition. However, the makers of Akhil Akkineni’s Hello have planned to go ahead with a December 22, 2017 release date. Let’s wait and watch what the new action hero has in store for us this time around.
