Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover may never work together again. Yes, that’s a sad news, especially after the two went on confessing in interviews and on social media also that they have moved on from their feud and are open to work with each other again. Late last year, when Kapil was busy promoting his second film as an actor and first as a producer – Firangi, he knew that a question that was bound to come up in his media interactions would be on his new show and the possibility of his former colleague Sunil joining him on it.
The actor had maintained a stand that he would definitely like to team up with Sunil again. Eve though he didn’t know when the new show will come out, what will be the name or concept, he promised to touch base with his friend-turned-foe and ask him to be a team again. In in exclusive interaction with India.com Kapil had said, “Yes, I want Sunil to come back on the new show with me. Not just him, I want the whole team to get back together once again. We were like family, had a lot of fun working together so it will be great if the A-team reunites.”
He had also revealed that he hadn’t initiated a conversation with him as yet. “As soon as I am a little free post the release of Firangi, I will talk to him and the others,” Kapil had said further sharing, “Honestly speaking, I am a little scared, bogged down by the questions ‘What if it doesn’t materialise?’ But I am hopeful that things will fall into place and we all will work together once again.”
As of now, while Kapil has announced his television comeback with Family Time With Kapil Sharma and has also shot the first episode, Sunil has tweeted that he hasn’t received any call to be part of the show and therefore he has taken up something else. Kapil in turn tweeted that he called Sunil a 100 times and also went to meet him at his home but he wasn’t available and never bothered to call back. He asked his former colleague to not spread rumours and accused him of using his name to gain some mileage.
This fight is going to be on social media and we are sure fans cannot wait for Sunil to come back with his side of the story to make things clearer. As of now, the questions everyone wants answered is – Is Sunil lying? Was the ‘all is well’ stance post the feud fake? Was Kapil talking about reuniting with Sunil to promote his film and make sure he is widely written about? Was there a call?
