A case has been registered against the director Jean Paul Lal, actor Sreenath Bhasi and two others for making obscene remarks at an actress. The incident took place last year in November 2016, during the filming of Honey Bee 2.
The actress, who was a part of the film Honey Bee 2, directed by Jean Paul Lal, has allegedly said that she has not been paid the promised amount for her work, instead, they (director Jean Paul Lal, actor Sreenath Bhasi and two others) made lewd remarks against her. The film technicians Anoop and Anirudh are the two others, against whom the actress raised these allegations.
According to the actress’ statement, she had been to the Panangad Hotel in Kochi to demand the amount that she was promised for the designated work. While the Panangad police is probing the case based on the actress’ complaint, director Lal said, the actress, who worked in his son’s movie, was never punctual and it affected their work. Also, he alleged that she had demanded Rs 10 lakh for the work which she never completed. “We even had to change the script because of her,” added Lal.
