Los Angeles, January 20 (IANS): Actor Charlie Sheen thinks he has bipolar disorder. The “Anger Management” actor says various medical experts have warned him he could suffer from the condition – which typically sees sufferers experience bouts of both depression and manic behaviour – and he thinks it could be responsible for some of his battles with addiction. Also Read - Did Angelina Jolie Permanently Erase or Cover-Up Birth Coordinates of Brad Pitt From Her Shoulder Tattoo?

“I’ve been described or diagnosed by enough people that I guess at some point you have to take a look at it…Manic behaviour is usually in the throes of departing substance abuse and drinking,” said Sheen. “It doesn’t really happen when I’m not doing that,” he added. Read Also: (Selena Gomez denies Charlie Puth dating rumours) Also Read - Priyanka Chopra Jonas Steps Out in London Wearing a Backless Polka Dot Dress Worth Rs 1 Lakh

But the 50-year-old says he has never viewed his mood swings as a problem. He said: “They’ve always seemed normal to me. I’ve just accepted it as part of my make-up.

“I don’t look at it as mania, I just look at it as the very… interesting universe.”

Sheen – who announced in November he is HIV Positive – is unsure whether he wants to take medication for bipolar disorder but would “consider” it. He said: “What else is it going to ‘fix’? I would certainly consider (taking) it, sure.”
