Indian Idol is getting more and more competitive day by day! The musical show judged by judges Farah Khan, Anu Malik and Sonu Nigam is one of the interesting shows right now! As there are only 9 contestants remaining, the musical war gets harder and stricter! Now amid this, today the show had the popular judge Dj Akbar Sami to accompany the contestants. Being the ‘Dj Round’, it had all the fun catchy and upbeat songs for today’s episode. The otherwise quiet and suave contestants, grooved like no one’s watching in this enjoyable episode. There was a visible tough competition between nine of them, proving themselves better than each other but in healthy way.
Dj Akbar Sami gave twists to the peppy Bollywood numbers from old as well as new era. He comforted the contestants before starting the episode and promised them that they will have rocking day today and he was not wrong! All the judges too were happy with the performances. Maalavika Sundar was hailed by all. especially by Farah and even called her the ‘star’ of the day. But who gained most of the hearts was none other than Baahubali singer LV Revanth with his old ‘Om Shaanti Om’ number composed by Laxmikant Pyarelal. Not only this, Revanth even mimicked some of the contestants just like a true performer and audience could not stop laughing after his hilarious act.
The beautiful new bride Manya Narang sang the popular Bappi Lahri number ‘Raat Baki Hai’. Maalavika Sundar added a south indian touch to Sunny Leone’s latest number from Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees, ‘Laila Main Laila’! Tajinder Singh sang everyone’s favourite ‘Chumma Chumma de de’ which was truly worth an applaud. Other contestants also did fairly well and kept the fans hooked up to the television. The performances of the episode ended with the group performance on the energetic song ‘Where’s the party tonight’! But after all this fun and frolic episode, it was time to depart one contestant. The bottom three people in today’s episode were Hardeep, Manya and Tajinder. While Manya and Tajinder get into the safe zone, Hardeep Singh got eliminated and could not make it to top 8. The judges and contestants half-heartedly bid him good bye. Tomorrow’s episode will be a damn romantic one where Revanth will sing ‘Tum Hi Ho’ in his own addictive voice and Manya;s husband will come on the sets to surprise her.
