Indian Idol 9: Begum Jaan Vidya Balan gets impressed by the top finalists!

Indian Idol 9 is now nearing the finale. Today’s episode was one of the most melodious episodes until now. The contestants sang the songs composed by Anu Malik and also Sonu Nigam’ s numbers. Also what was the main attraction of the show was Begum Jaan star Vidya Balan’s presence. The show started on a melodious note and also funny! Vidya Balan flirted with the shy contestant Khudabaksh in dirty picture style. Baahubali 2 singer L V Revanth impressed her with Moh Moh k dhaage from film ‘Dum Lagake Haisha’. South singer Maalavika Sundar sang the old rendition ‘Piya Baware’ from Rekha starrer ‘Khubsoorat’ and it was amazing!

There were also fun moments in the show where Vidya flaunted her rifle shooting skills with the hosts. The episode became tensed when it was time to decide the top three contestants of Indian Idol 9. And man! The result was unexpected! It was Maalavika Sundar who got eliminated from the show! As soon as it was announced she could not hold her tears and everyone wished her well for her future.

Well, after a beautiful episode today with Vidya, tomorrow it will be Sonakshi Sinha’s turn to get enthralled by the singers.
