Today’s Indian Idol 9 episode started with powerful performance by music director-singer Vishal Dadlani. The top three finalists Khudabaksh, LV Revanth and Rohit also joined him in his songs. Then came the much awaited star Sonakshi Sinha taking the bearing of her character Noor Roy Chaudhary from her upcoming film ‘ Noor’. Khudabaksh sang the soulful song ‘mast mast do nain’. As expected he got a standing ovation from everyone. Anu Malik appreciated him with a shayari. Also he was asked to say the famous thappad wala dialogue from Dabanng and it was hilarious!
It was LV Revanth’s turn to enthrall the audience and he did it perfectly! He sang TatadTatad with full on energy. Rohit also crooned ‘Bin tere’ wonderfully. He was given a surprise by the makers by showing him a video message of his favourite actress Parineeti Chopra. The otherwise shy Rohit blushed like never before when Parineeti said that she was a great fan of him.
It was a proud moment for Vishal and Sonakshi when Indian Idol junior contestant Nahid Afrin came on stage. The duo had promised her that they will let her sing in ‘Akira’ and they kept their promise. She sang ‘raj raj ke’ song from Akira. The junior singer indeed evolved as a singer and was just super ready for play back singing in other movies too. Overall the episode was simple yet fun. Stay tuned with us for more updates.
