Indiana Jones defeats James Bond in list of greatest movie characters of all time
Indiana Jones has been voted as the greatest movie characters of all time among James Bond and 'Star Wars's Han Solo.

London, June 23: Indiana Jones has been voted as the greatest movie characters of all time among James Bond and ‘Star Wars’s Han Solo. Readers of Empire magazine ranked Bond and Solo on the second and the third place respectively, whereas Sigourney Weaver’s role of Ellen Ripley in Ridley Scott’s sci-fi classic ‘Alien’ was the only female character that made to the list, behind Batman being on the fourth place, the Independent reported.
The Joker, ‘Die Hard’s John McClane, ‘Fight Club’s Tyler Durden and Darth Vader again from ‘Star Wars’ were in the ascending order after Batman, whereas ‘The Big Lebowski’s The Dude was able to grab the last position.
Also, Lucasfilm has confirmed that there will be a 5th installment of ‘ Indiana Jones’ franchise. President Kathleen Kennedy said that the new flick would definitely happen one day, and will star Harrison Ford, though they weren’t sure when, the Verge reported. They hadn’t started on a script, but were talking about it, she added. It’s not specified what role would Ford play, but there are speculations that Chris Pratt is being eyed for the lead.
