From 1951 to 1989, Nazir became the face of Malayalam films, starring in an astonishing 720 films, a record that stood unmatched for years. His unparalleled work ethic saw him juggle double or even triple shifts during his peak, sometimes appearing in as many as 30 films in a single year an achievement that earned him another world record.

But it wasn’t just quantity that set Nazir apart; his films were largely successful, with industry experts estimating that over half of his movies became box office hits. Many historians agree that he starred in at least 400 successful films, with around 50 reaching blockbuster status.
