Iqbal Khan to enter Zee TV’s show Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani!

Here comes a good news for all Iqbal Khan’s fans out there! Yes, the popular telly actor Iqbal Khan is all geared up to make a comeback on small screen. The handsome hunk will be seen in Zee TV’s show “Ek Tha Raja Ek thi Rani”. Iqbal Khan was missing from TV since a long time, but now it seems as if his fans have a reason to rejoice. Iqbal will be playing the new lead actor opposite Rani, which is currently played by actress Esha Singh. According to a leading entertainment portal Tellychakkar quoted a source saying, “This will be a special cameo entry, and the character will be an anti-hero. He will be a staunch Muslim with utmost respect towards women. He will bump into Rani (Eisha Singh) and the encounter will bring about a lot of twists in the tale.”

We heard that actor Iqbal has already started shooting for the show. His initial first entry shot will be with Eisha Singh. Iqbal’s entry in the popular show will stir the love story between Rani and Raja. Iqbal was last seen in & TV channel show “Waaris” in a guest appearance and audiences appreciated him for his performance. He was also seen as a second leads in shows including Pavitra Rishta , Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli and Kavyayajali. Iqbal has huge number of fans and audiences will be quiet excited to see him back on small screen.

In the recent episode of ‘Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani’ audiences witnessed that Raja and Rani are separated in the show. As Bindhu creates problems between the two and soon Rani will meet the new entry. They will become friends and their bonding with each other will create jealousy problems with Raja. We heard that he will extend a hand of friendship with Rani to complete his mission. The makers of the show will show a love triangle between Raja and Rani’s love story. Meanwhile, Surekha Sikri bids adieu to the show and she has shot her death scene last evening.

The actress left the show as she will be seen doing a new show on Star Plus  channel – “Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil”. The show features Dhrashti Dhami in the lead role of the show. Fans have high hopes and expectations from Iqbal Khan after seeing him romance in “Tumhari Pakhi”. Iqbal did several shows like Kawayanjali, Karam Apna Apna. Ekta Kapoor launched him in Kaisi Ye Pyaar Hai alongside with Neha Bamb. Iqbal was also seen in films like Fu2oosh , Bullet etc. Later on he even did shows like Sanjog Se Bani Sangini , Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli , Choona Hai Aasman and Pavitra Rishta. Iqbal even also participated in reality show ‘Khatro Ke Khiladi’ .

However, Tellychakkar buzzed Iqbal and asked him about the same to which he replied saying, “I am not sure of it at the moment.”
