Now this on-screen pairing is way too unusual for us to imagine. After having made films like Agent Vinod and Badlapur, director Sriram Raghavan is reportedly gearing up for his upcoming directorial venture that will pair Tabu and Ayushmann Khurrana for the first time. We can’t seem to picture the two together on screen. Anyway, if recent reports by a leading online portal are to be believed the movie will be titled, ‘Mud Mud Ke Na Dekh’. Unconfirmed reports indicate that the film is an adaptation of the novel ‘The Accidental Apprentice’ by Vikas Swarup.
Apparently the actors have already started shooting the movie in the locales of Lonavala and Pune and almost 30 percent of the film has already been shot.’Mud Mud Ke Na Dekh’ was reportedly offered to actors like Varun Dhawan and Harshvardhan Kapoor before being given to Ayushmann. Raghavan’s Badlapur shattered Varun’s boy next door image and transformed his image and career. Tabu is a versatile actress. Known for her roles in celebrated movies like Maqbool, Haider, Ajay Devgn-starrer thriller Drishyam (2015), to name a few, she was last seen in Abhishek Kapoor’s adaptation of Charles Dicken’s Great Expectations – Fitoor in 2016 that featured Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. Ayushmann on the other hand was last seen this year in Meri Pyaari Bindu starring opposite Parineeti Chopra. He will also feature in Ashwini Iyer Tiwari’s Bareilly Ki Barfi with Kriti Sanon and Rajkumarr Rao and R S Prasanna’s Shubh Mangal Saavdhan opposite his Dum Laga Ke Haisha co-star Bhumi Pednekar.
