Taking to her Instagram handle, Ananya shared the pictures featuring her with her little sister Rysa and their two dogs, Astro and Fudge. She captioned the pictures, “quaranteam #StayHome #StaySafe #StayPositive (sic)” but was soon accused of copying it from her Khaali Peeli co-star Ishaan Khatter. On the professional front, Ananya has been working on her third film – Khaali Peeli with Ishaan Khatter. The makers of Maqbool Khan-directorial, Khaali Peeli, dropped a look featuring Ishaan behind the wheel of a taxi while Ananya occupied the backseat. Looking at her through the rearview mirror, Ishaan had a hint of a smile on his face while Ananya looked tense and fans were on a frenzy to see their chemistry. Khaali Peeli is scheduled to hit the theatre on June 12, 2020.

Apart from this, Ananya Panday had begun shooting for her pan-India film, Fighter, opposite South sensation Vijay Devarakonda before the shoot of all entertainment portals was put on halt amid lockdown. Helmed by Puri Jagganadh, it’s an action film with Ananya romancing Vijay in the lead. The actor kick-started preparations for the film and posted a few pictures of herself with Vijay from the reading session. The movie is bankrolled by Charmie Kaur.
