Television actress Nehalaxmi Iyer, who is best known for her character Saumya, a radio jockey in Star Plus’ popular show Ishqbaaaz, has recently become the topic of discussion, as rumours suggest that the actress is dating her co-star Leenesh Mattoo (who essays the role of Rudra) from the show. While the actress has been in a steady relationship with her long time beau Tejas Nagvekar, her link-ups with her co-star Leenesh have come as a shock to many. However, the actress has now revealed that she has broken up with her boyfriend Tejas six months ago.
Speaking of the breakup, Nehalaxmi, in a statement to an entertainment portal, said, “We have parted ways and I do not want to comment anything on this for now. At this point of time, all I want to do is to focus on my career.” While we wondered if this means that she is now dating her co-star, the actress told India Forums, “Leenesh is a very good friend and there is nothing more than that.”
But recently, a source revealed to Times of India about the couple, “Leenesh and Nehalaxmi started seeing each other after two months of friendship. In fact, Leenesh also turned fitness guru for her when she was trying to reduce weight that she had piled up for the show. They have found a comfort level which is seldom seen in couples. The two have no plans for marriage right now as they are busy with their careers.”

Nehalaxmi, who was seen romancing Rudra (essayed by Leenesh Matto), had to exit from the show Ishqbaaaz, after the makers decided to bring in a new girl in Rudra’s life. While the actors are no more sharing the screen space, they are still in touch with each other and are sharing cute pictures of them on their social media handles.
