Shivaay announces Anika to be his wife in Ishqbaaz. Daksh was back in Anika and Shivaay’s life. Anika was really scared of Daksh. She has had a real back experience with Daksh in the past. Daksh tried to kill Anika and she was almost dead when Shivaay saved her. Somehow, Shivaay gave Anika the courage to face Daksh fearlessly. With the assurance of Shivaay, Anika faces Daksh bravely but then Shivaay found it bit difficult to handle Daksh.
Priyanka, Shivaay’s sister, is going to get married to Ranveer. Ranveer is Daksh’s nephew. Daksh got to know that Priyanka is pregnant with Ranveer’s baby and he started blackmailing Shivaay about revealing the truth to his family. Daksh used to be Shivaay’s best friend so he knows that Shivaay is very much concerned for his family and it is easy to blackmail him. Daksh took advantage of this secret and humiliated Anika in the ceremonies of Priyanka and Ranveer.
Shivaay loves Anika but, at the same time, he feels helpless because of his sister. As usual, Shivaay didn’t tell anyone about Priyanka’s pregnancy and Daksh blackmailing him. So Anika is upset with Shivaay and she questions about her position in his life. Shivaay is hopeful that Anika would understand him at the end, but this time, Anika was really upset and she kept distance from Shivaay. Daksh is a psychopathic and anything is expected from him, so Shivaay tried to keep him away from the ceremonies. But, it wasn’t easy for Shivaay to keep him away as Daksh entered the function in a very questionable manner. He threw himself in the middle of the hall by tying himself in the sack. Kamini had called the media to cover Priyanka’s function. It was seen that the media questioned Shivaay about his relationship with Anika. Daksh tried to insult Anika again by calling her as Shivaay’s mistress. Daksh kept on repeating the same thing again and again as he was sure that Shivaay wouldn’t say anything for the sake of his sister, Priyanka. But everything has its limit; Shivaay couldn’t tolerate Anika being called as his mistress as his love and relationship is pure.
