A lot has been taking place in the recent episodes of Star Plus show Ishqbaaz. Anika and Shivaay got married almost shocking everyone, including the viewers. Tia, who has eloped on her wedding night, is back in Shivaay’s life claiming that she was kidnapped from the venue. Shivaay decides to divorce Anika the very next day and marry Tia as planned. He had in fact signed a with the marriage to take his business forward. Shivaay wanted to keep his word and marry Tia since he only tied the knot with Anika only to save his family’s pride. Shivaay’s dadi is happy with his decision and wants him to accept Anika as his wife.
Dadi has always liked Anika and wanted her to be Shivaay’s wife. But Shivaay, being his adamant self, refuses to change his mind. He wants to marry Tia and divorce Anika since she doesn’t belong to his society. But Dadi forces Shivaay to accept and follow all the rituals of the wedding until they get divorced. Tia, however, is irked to see Anika as Shivaay’s wife and wants him to get rid of her altogether. She humiliates Anika to ensure she leaves the Oberoi house on her own, but Anika confidently gives back to Anika each time. Om and Rudra want Shivaay to accept Anika as his wife as they dislike Tia. They know that Shivaay has feelings for Anika and is yet to come on terms with this fact. They try to make Shivaay realise his mistake but he is adamant at his word. Rudra and Om decide to find a solution to stop Shivaay and Anika’s divorce. Shivaay refuses to listen to their request and he sells off Anika’s house as a revenge. But during Anika’s pagh-phera ritual, Soumya brings Saahil home. For the first time, Shivaay notices that Saahil is physically handicapped and cannot walk without crutches. Shivaay regrets his decision to hurt Saahil and feels bad about himself.
He feels emotional for being selfish and guilty about his evil intentions. Rudra and Om ask Shivaay where will Anika stay now since he has already sold their house. Shivaay changes his mind and asks Anika to stay back. Dadi, Rudra and Om are happy to see Anika staying in Oberoi house. Rudra bonds with Saahil, since the two have similar temperaments. Shivaay also tries to become friends with Saahil, Anika’s brother. Shivaay is regretting his attitude towards Saahil and decides to make up for it. Saahil agrees but only on a few conditions, which Shivaay has agreed to accept. Anika later finds out that Shivaay is in problem and something really bad is going to happen to him. In fact, it would be Tia’s plan to separate Anika and Shivaay. Hence, Anika decides to not divorce Shivaay until she is clear that he is safe.
