Ishqbaaz is one of the most popular serials on Indian television today. Starring Nakuul Mehta, Surbhi Chandna, Shrenu Parikh, Kunal Jaisingh, Leenesh Mattoo and Mansi Srivastava in lead roles, the show is one of the topserials on the TRP charts. While the starcast and crew members are always seen having fun on the sets, recent news of one the core team members has left everyone in a state of shock. Much to everyone’s dismay, the show’s supervising producer, Sanjay Bairagi, committed suicide on Friday. The 40-year-old jumped to his death from the 16th floor of a building in Malad West’s Silicon Park, the police said in a statement.
While earlier it was considered that the actor lost his balance and fell off the building owing to a cardiac arrest, later investigations disclosed that he committed suicide. The deceased left behind a note that suggests he may have ended his own life. On the day of the dreadful incident, Bairagi seemed to have otherwise had a great time, playing Holi with his friends and family members. He even uploaded pictures with his family members and friends on social media.
As per the report in Spotboye.com, Bairagi was going through a financial crisis. The entertainment portal also spoke to the producer of the show, Gul Khan, who said, “Sanjay was an efficient worker and was controlling the entire production work. He wasn’t directly reporting to me hence I wouldn’t know the cause of death. We (the team) went to the funeral yesterday and have still not recovered from what we saw,” she said.
