Queen of the small screen, Hina Khan recently surprised her fans when she announced her wedding with long-time beau Rocky Jaiswal. After dating for 13 years, the couple got married in an intimate wedding ceremony. Just a day after her big day, Hina returned to work. Now, in a recent conversation with Pinkvilla, Hina opened up about her childhood memories and revealed that when she was young, no one wanted to keep her.

In the interview, Hina reflected on her childhood days and said, “Koi rakhna nahi chahta tha mujhe. Ye sach hai. (No one wanted to keep me. This is the truth). If my mother had to travel or go out for 2 hours, she used to tell my nani, ‘Bachon ko dekh lena zara, main do ghante ke liye bahar ja rahi hoon.’ (Look after the kids, I’m going out for 2 hours). Everyone used to say, ‘Ameer ko rakhenge, Hina ko nahi rakhenge. Hina ko saath le jao.’ (We will keep Ameer, not Hina. Take Hina with you).”

She revealed that everyone wanted to look after her brother but not her. During the same conversation, she also revealed the reason. The actress said, “I was a very, very naughty child. Main kisi ki nahi sunti thi. (I didn’t listen to anyone).”

Hina revealed that she was notorious in her childhood and had broken legs and fought with people. She said, “I was very naughty. I used to run away. I was good at studies, but I used to not study.”

Hina said that in her school days, she could have scored 90 per cent if she had given all her attention to the work. However, being a notorious child, she paid less attention and yet scored 60–70 per cent. Because she was extremely naughty, no one except her parents wanted to keep her.
