Jammu and Kashmir floods: Iqbal Khan’s sister found; Kanwaljeet Singh and Anuradha Patel’s sons stuck

Bollywood director Shakun Batra was also untraceable for a while and actor couple Kanwaljeet Singh and Anuradha Patel's two sons are also stuck in Jammu and Kashmir capital Srinagar due to the deluge.

TV actor Iqbal Khan who had been tweeting in panic after his family was untraceable in the Jammu and Kashmir floods, has informed his fans on Twitter that his sister has been traced. On September 8, the Indian TV and Bollywood actor had been tweeting about his loved ones going missing. Iqbal had mentioned that while his dad’s area was safe, he was not able to get in touch with his sister.

We had reported the story first and also that Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan had retweeted Iqbal’s plea for help. Iqbal said on Twitter on September 9: “My parents safe.finally after 3 days got in touch with my sister.she is safe.Thank you Allah.and you lovely people for all the prayers” and “Let’s pray for the rest that they get safe too inshallah”.

We’re glad Iqbal’s family is safe and sound. Meanwhile, Bollywood director Shakun Batra was also untraceable for a while in the Kashmir region due to the floods. Actor couple Kanwaljeet Singh and Anuradha Patel’s two sons are also stuck in Jammu and Kashmir capital Srinagar due to the deluge.
