Following the selection, a press conference was held in Mumbai on Monday, where the film’s director Neeraj Ghaywan and actor Ishaan shared their excitement.

Ishaan said, “This is the film I’m most proud of. Neeraj bhai has made it very thoughtfully so that it reaches as many people as possible.” “Homebound” has already screened at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), and the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM). The film will now release in Indian theaters on September 26.
