B-town beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has made her comeback in the industry with the thriller-drama movie ‘Jazbaa’. The movie directed by Sanjay Gupta also starred Irrfan Khan in the lead role. From the time it hit the silver screens, the movie showed a solid growth. Aishwarya who played the role of a criminal lawyer and a single mother showed a stunning performance. The Aishwarya and Irrfan starrer film received tremendous response in the opening weekend. The movie had released on October 9 and it is showing consistence performance. On the day of the release, the film garnered Rs. 4.23 crores. But on Saturday (October 10) there was a rise in its collection. Aishwarya starrer film managed to collect Rs. 5.49 crores and on Sunday (October 11) it collected Rs. 5.52 crores. The Sanjay Gupta directorial flick could not garner as much as films like ‘Singh Is Bliing’ or ‘Talvar’ that hit the screens on October 2. These two films that released on the same day are receiving solid response. Other movies that received good response on the opening weekend were ‘Katti Batti’ and ‘Hero’. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made her comeback after five long years. She was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial flick ‘Guzaarish’ in which Hrithik Roshan was also featured in the lead role. But it looks like ‘Jazbaa’ has become the perfect comeback for the beauty. The movie’s box office collection is expected to soar in the coming days.
