After the makers axed the show to make way for new shows on the channel, Shaheer Sheikh and Erica Fernandes‘s  Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi season 2 returned on public demand (which began on September 25), but it was a finite series and was to last only for six weeks. The last episode of KRPKAB 2 was aired on Thursday, and this time, although fans continue to campaign for an extension on the social media, reportedly, the channel has no plans to return with its third installment as of now. However, Jennifer Winget, Kushal Tandon and Aneri Vajani starrer Beyhadh is expected to return on Sony early next year. Once, even before, Beyhadh had been given an extension as the story had the potential to carry forward with its high intense drama. In fact, to make way for Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati 9, the show was shifted from the 9 pm slot to a new time slot – 8.30pm (pushing Pehredaar Piya Ki from 8.30 pm to 10 pm time slot on public demand), but was not abruptly axed the show. As per the reports, Beyhadh’s new season will air by February 2018. While, Season one, that revolved around Maya Mehrotra (essayed by Jennifer) and her obsession with Arjun (Kushal’s character), the second installment will have Maya return as a wolf under the sheep’s skin. We have seen Maya donning various looks like bald, bespectacled, among others, this time she is coming back as a wolf. Well, the show ended in October on a good note with Saanjh and Arjun getting married and the two living with false identities. Let’s see how things work out in the second innings. As we know, Jennifer won’t be a part of the third season of Beyhadh, no doubt fans are going to miss her terribly. But here’s a good news that the actress will now be seen in an upcoming show titled Adhura Alvida alongside Sehban Azim and Harshad Chopda.
