Jennifer Winget surprised her fans with her rather dark role as Maya in Beyhadh, which had her play the role of an obsessive, possessive lover. The actress was quite a revelation in TV show that went on to win millions of hearts. Fans were very upset when the show came to an end. But, guess what? We have a surprise for you fans. Jennifer is all set to make a comeback on television, although in a completely different avatar. The show’s name is Bepanhaa and it has her star opposite actor Sehban Azim. The show will also star Harshad Chopra in a pivotal role. While the makers had earlier planned to call the serial, Adhura Alvida but they changed it to Bepanhaa at the nth moment. Additionally, there were rumours of Jennifer returning with the second season of Beyhadh but Bepanhaa seems to be her comeback show and we definitely can’t hold our excitement. Well the promo of the show is out and let us tell you that our excitement has only doubled!
Well from the promo we come to know that Jennifer and Sehban are madly in love. To say that their chemistry is just amazing would be an understatement. Everything seems to be going right, when she receives the phone call and there is a look of shock on her face. If we were to take a clue from the previous title, we could ascertain that an untoward incident takes place, which kills Sehban, leaving Jennifer in a state of despair. Furthermore, we guess that post his death is when actor Harshad Chopra enters her life. If reports are to be believed their chemistry is another highlight of the show. This will be Jennifer’s first show with Colors. She recently won the ITA Award for the Best Actress. The Awards function was broadcasted on Colors earlier today. Receiving the award, she had said,”The curtains closed on Beyhadh, but Maya stays with me. And this award just made sure.” Anyway going back to her new show, Bepanhaa, the pics of Jennifer and Sehban drenched in rain had been doing the rounds. Sehban is as excited as us for the show to hit the television screens. He was quoted by a leading newspaper as saying, “I always become friends with my co-stars. They somewhere become part of my life and we end up working again and again. It is fantastic to work with people you are comfortable with. We also have the director of Humsafars on the new show.” With the promo finally out, the countdown for the show has begun. It would be interesting to see what magic Jennifer spins on screen, post Beyhadh. The actress surely set the benchmark very high with her previous show, and now our expectations out of her are way too much. We can’t wait for the show to premiere on our television screens.
