Jitendra Kumar teams up with Mahvash for Remo D’Souza’s next feel-good romance – Watch
Jitendra Kumar and Mahvash come together for a quirky love story that embraces imperfections, everyday madness, and the messy charm of real relationships.
Jitendra Kumar has quietly built a reputation for choosing stories that feel lived-in rather than larger-than-life. Now, he is stepping into yet another grounded universe with Tedhi Hain Par Meri Hain, a romantic comedy that leans into the messy, imperfect side of modern love. The film pairs him with Mahvash, marking a refreshing on-screen partnership for a story that promises humour, heart, and the kind of emotional chaos that feels instantly relatable.
The film is presented by Remo D’Souza and directed by Jayesh Pradhaan, with a screenplay by Pradeep Singh. Production duties are shared by Ishan Shilpi Verma, Vishal Tyagi, and Anwar Ali Khan in collaboration with Kuree Studio and Shaisha Motion Pictures. Adding even more weight to the project, National Award–winning composer Ismail Darbar will handle the music.
Why did Remo D’Souza choose to back this story?
For Remo, the film’s charm lies in its honesty. Speaking about why he chose to present it, he said he has always gravitated towards narratives rooted in reality, stories that carry a spark of madness without losing their emotional truth. “Tedhi Hain Par Meri Hain celebrates imperfection,” Remo said. “It’s about finding the right kind of crazy in someone else. And having someone like Jitendra Kumar, who blends comedy and vulnerability so effortlessly, makes the film even more special.”
Jitendra, who has delivered back-to-back memorable performances in Panchayat, Kota Factory, Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, and most recently Bhagwat: Chapter One, Raakshas, shared that the title itself was an instant hook.

He said, “The name Tedhi Hain Par Meri Hain captures the spirit of real love. I loved the idea of playing a character who is flawed in the most human way. Imperfect relationships often end up being the most beautiful ones, and I think audiences will connect with that.”
What made Mahvash say yes?
Mahvash, who stars opposite Jitendra, said she was drawn in by the film’s rawness. “This isn’t just a love story,” she explained. “It’s a wonderfully chaotic one. The characters feel like people you’ve actually met. I’m excited for audiences to experience the madness and warmth this story carries.”
