This is indeed saddening and shocking news for all John Heard fans. The Home Alone actor has left the world at the age of 71. Reports suggest that he died after the recovery of his back surgery. Heard was reportedly staying in a hotel after his minor back surgery. On Friday he was found dead in a hotel room in Palo Alto, California.
The Palo Alto medical department reportedly said to an online portal, ” Our Officers responded with the Fire Department to a hotel in our city on a report of a person in need of medical aid. The person was determined to be deceased. While still under investigation, the death is not considered suspicious at this time.”
Everyone is devastated about his sudden death, James Woods and Jeff Bridges expressed their grief on twitter about the loss.

Heard was starred in movies like Cat People, After Hours and Sharknado. He had even received Emmy Award for a guest role in the HBO series The Sopranos as Vin Makazian, a corrupt New Jersey Detective. Heard was born in 1946 in Washington DC. He started his career on stage in the late 1970’s and rest is history. May his soul rest in peace.
