The wait is finally over for fans of Bollywood’s much-loved courtroom comedy. On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, the makers of Jolly LLB 3 dropped its official teaser, setting social media abuzz. Directed by Shubhash Kapoor, this third instalment in the franchise follows Jolly LLB (2013) and Jolly LLB 2 (2017), bringing together both “Jollys” under one roof — and one judge’s gavel.
Jolly LLB 3: Teaser
The 90-second clip, released by Star Studios on YouTube, begins with an announcement: Case No. 1722. That’s when the curtain lifts on Jolly Mishra from Meerut (Arshad Warsi, the original Jolly) and Jolly Tyagi from Kanpur (Akshay Kumar, who took the baton in part two). Both walk into court, and it’s clear from the start — this is not going to be a polite legal debate.

The teaser ends with a laugh-out-loud moment as Justice Sunderlal Tripathi, played once again by Saurabh Shukla, groans: “Yeh dono Jolly sirf meri zindagi barbaad karne aaye hain.” (These two Jollys are only here to ruin my life.)
Jolly LLB 3: Plot
If IMDb’s synopsis is anything to go by, this round won’t just be about witty courtroom banter. The two lawyers will be taking on the system itself, each armed with arguments, quirks, and plenty of ego.
Arshad and Akshay’s reunion promises the ultimate “lawyer vs lawyer” face-off — a premise that already has fans debating who will come out on top.
Jolly LLB 3: Cast
The core trio, Arshad Warsi, Akshay Kumar, and Saurabh Shukla, is joined by Huma Qureshi, Amrita Rao, and Sushil Pandey in important roles. The film is backed by Dimple Kharbanda, Aruna Bhatia, and Naren Kumar under the banners of Star Studios and Kangra Talkies.
Jolly LLB 3: Release date
Mark your calendars — Jolly LLB 3 is scheduled to release on September 19, 2025. Given the franchise’s past success, the combination of courtroom chaos, sharp humour, and social commentary is expected to pack a punch at the box office.
With the teaser already racking up views, one thing is clear — when two Jollys share a courtroom, the real verdict is in the audience’s laughter.
