Junior NTR And Nandamuri Kalyan Pay Tribute To NTR On His 96th Birth Anniversary

May 27th marks the 96th birth anniversary of the iconic actor-turned-politician- Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR). He was one of the finest Telugu actors was born. The Telugu industry wouldn’t have reached the height it has, if it hadn’t been for legendary actors such as NTR. Tollywood is incomplete without the mention of this great man’s contribution. Thus, on his 96th birth anniversary, his grandsons, Jr NTR and Nandamuri Kalyanram, paid tribute to the late actor.

NTR moved to politics, after his successful career as an actor, and started his own political party called the Telugu Desam Party. He also served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for three terms.

A movie is being made on the late actor-politician. The biopic will reportedly chronicle the life of the man who ruled the masses and gave them all something to remember and cherish him for. The movie was earlier going to be directed by filmmaker Teja but due to some creative differences, he walked out of the project. We now hear that the filmmaker has been replaced by Krrish who will helm the project. Nandamuri Balkrishnan is essaying his father’s role on screen. The makers launched the movie on a huge scale with Nandamuri dressed as Duryodhana in the opening shot. Vice-president M Venkaiah Naidu was also part of this event. Balakrishnan is one of the sons of NTR who has turned out to be quite a successful actor. He has acted in over 100 films and boasts of a great fan following. Jr NTR, grandson of the late actor, is currently one of the biggest superstars of Tollywood today, while Nanadamuri Kalyan is quite a well known face in the industry.
