The Kadal fame took to Twitter to post a video message that clarifies what he meant was nothing similar to what was interpreted and said by the media. He said, “There is a controversy doing the rounds based on a recent statement of mine. I would like to say that it’s a complete misunderstanding. I was asked if I supported Rajinikanth Sir’s entry into politics. To which I replied I didn’t understand politics and that I would like to see him only as a superstar. But, my statement has been taken out of context and has been misconstrued as I didn’t support his entry. The actor had made it a point to put an end to the controversy with his sincere explanation on his Twitter handle.
