Always leading by an example, Kangana revealed how she also went through a tough time at the beginning of her career but she dealt with it strongly and worked on her emotional strength. The actor said she ran away from home because she wanted to be an actor but she found herself amidst drugs and abuse within a year-and-half. Asserting that it’s not a bad time, Kangana said, “This time is not bad time, do not think of it like that. Bad times are actually good times. Friends, I was 15 or 16 when I ran away from my house, and I used to feel like I could grab the stars with my hands. After I left my house, I was a film star and a drug addict within 1.5 – 2 years of it.” Also Read - Hema Malini, Urmila Matondkar, Kangana Ranaut Ask People to Celebrate Navratri at Home Amid Coronavirus Lockdown

The actor added that she was in a bad company and it was impossible for her to save herself from those people. However, soon she realised her follies and tried to see the truth and took charge of her life. Kangana said she became a disciple of Swami Vivekananda after someone gifted a book to her and that was the transforming moment for her. The actor said she is thankful today for those bad times because she saw herself and got to know where she was heading and how she wanted to see her life. The Manikarnika star was quoted saying, “I would have been lost in the crowd if those challenging times didn’t come in my life. Without spiritual guidance, I wouldn’t have been able to develop my will-power, I wouldn’t have been able to sharpen my intellect or groom my talent or develop my emotional health.”

Meanwhile, Kangana’s sister Rangoli Chandel recently uploaded a few photos of herself taking care of her younger sister. She revealed in a Twitter post how Kangana is an actor who never undergoes any beauty process to look like a certain way. She said her sister is far away from the commercialism of the beauty industry and despite being a top actor, she deals with blackheads like a regular girl.
