Singer Kanika Kapoor updated about her health condition from the Lucknow hospital where she’s admitted for treatment of coronavirus. The popular playback singer was tested positive for COVID-19 on March 20 and was taken to the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow. Kanika took to Instagram late evening on Sunday to update the well-wishers about her health and posted a positive picture that reflected she is hopeful about recovering soon. Kanika was reportedly tested positive for the coronavirus fourth time. This made her fans and family wonder if she’s even responding to the treatment given. The singer informed that she’s feeling better and as opposed to many reports that circulated on Sunday, she’s not admitted to the ICU. She added that she’s hopeful of being tested negative fifth time. Her Instagram post read, “Going off to bed. Sending you all loving vibes. Stay safe you guys ❤

Kanika returned from the UK on March 9 and travelled to Lucknow and Kanpur from Mumbai where she attended family get-togethers and other functions. It was reported that the health department of the Uttar Pradesh government set up several teams to track people who contacted Kanika in the last few days and get them tested. So far, none of the singer’s family members, friends or acquaintances was tested positive for the coronavirus.
