Bollywood producer Karim Morani‘s daughter, Shaza Morani has been tested positive for COVID-19. Shaza is also singer Kanika Kapoor’s good friend. A report in the entertainment portal Pinkvilla suggests that the girl has been admitted to the coronavirus ward at the Nanavati hospital and is doing fine. The report quoted a source close to the family revealing that they are hopeful of having Shaza out of the hospital as soon as possible while the rest of the family members are yet to be screened for the coronavirus. Shaza is the second celebrity with links in Bollywood after singer Kanika Kapoor who contracted the virus and was admitted to Lucknow’s SGPGI for her treatment. It was after five tests that she was declared corona free and sent into 14-days of self-isolation. Shaza’s father, Karim Morani, is a known film producer. He has invested in films like Happy New Year, Chennai Express and Dilwale among others. Morani has been away from the film industry for sometime because of his alleged association with many scams.
