Kannada actor and comedian Bullet Prakash passed away on April 6 (Monday) afternoon after suffering from liver infection at the age of 42. The actor was admitted to the hospital and was on a ventilator. As per the reports, last few months were hard on him as he lost 35 kgs in five months. The sudden weight loss took toll on his body. Earlier today, hospital released a statement that read, “On Monday morning 6th April 2020, we had to put him on a ventilator due to his worsening condition. The actor earned the name ‘Bullet’ for his penchant for riding Royal Enfield Bullet motorbike. He is known for his comic roles and has appeared in over 300 films. He made his debut with the film Dhruva (2002). He also participated in the Kannada reality television show Bigg Boss. He featured in films such as ‘Jackie’, ‘Bombay Mittai’, ‘Bheeshma’, ‘Mast Maja Maadi’, ‘Mehabooba’, ‘Mast Maja Maadi’ (2008), ‘Aithalakkadi’ (2010), ‘Mallikarjuna’ (2011) and ‘Aryan’ (2014)
He joined BJP in 2015 and was welcomed in the party by senior leader R Ashok. Bullet also underwent weight reduction surgery two years back.
