Kapil Sharma’s 9-Year-Old Dog Zanjeer Takes His Last Breath

The Kapil Sharma Show will no more see a hyperactive cute Labrador barging on its sets to play again, as the dog named Zanjeer, is no more. As per fresh reports in Spotboy E, Zanjeer, whom Kapil Sharma liked to call Zanjo, has passed away at Top Dog Pets Clinic, Versova. The dog had a great bond with Kapil and the comedian has often gone on record to claim that he shares a special bond with him.

According to the entertainment portal, Zanjeer was caught in a fight on the streets with a stray dog. In a feisty encounter, Zanjo got wounded on several places of his body. The dog was then brought to the hospital for being treated for the same. However, yesterday, when injecting Zanjo with medicine to prevent a flea infection, the dog lost consciousness and passed away on the doctor’s table. Kapil adopted Zanjeer in July 2014, back when he was doing Comedy Nights With Kapil. The comedian brought the dog home after he was abandoned. Kapil came across the dog at his friend Ganesh’s place, whose wife runs an NGO, and also takes care of abandoned animals. This will come as a huge loss for Kapil Sharma, especially at this low point in his career. At the trailer launch of his film Firangi, Kapil had mentioned how during his depression, he would often lock himself in his room along with alcohol and Zanjo. Zanjeer surely, will be dearly missed.
