In his post, Karan spoke about how he was raised by a strong woman (his mother) and how that helped shape him up into what he is today and he wished that when his little girl grows up, she has all the qualities of her grandmother. Karan posted, “I was raised by a woman who had a strong mind…an independent mind and a solid soul…she taught me how to live a fearless life along with a strong sense of right and wrong! She also taught me the art of abandon! She made me the man I am….a man who is honoured to be raised by a woman of substance! Roohi my darling I hope I raise you to be just like your grandmother….#happywomensday (sic).” ALSO READ: Prabhas Stopped Anushka Shetty From Making Her Bollywood Debut – Exclusive Also Read - Karan Johar Thanks Punit And Manish Malhotra For Making His Birthday Special With 1 Hour Video
Heartfelt and touching, isn’t it? KJo has always been very close to his mother and through this post, he does justice in expressing his emotions on a day like Women’s Day. On the work front, the filmmaker, who is currently in London vacationing with Kareena Kapoor Khan, plans to take a year long break from work so that he can be a full time parent. He will focus on his production house but not direct a film since that will demand more of his time. Also, he is planning to push the sixth season of Koffee With Karan to 2019 and devote this entire year taking care of his babies- Yash and Roohi Johar.
