Kareena Kapoor Khan On Taimur Being Paparazzi's Favourite: I Do Not Like My Son's Moves Being Monitored

Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan‘s little munchkin, Taimur Ali Khan has become an internet sensation ever since his birth, and it is not hard to see why. Whenever a picture of the kid surface, it takes over the internet by storm. The toddler is undoubtedly Bollywood’s most adorable prince charming and more than Kareena or Saif, we are keen on knowing what our cutiepie is up to. Our obsession with this one-year-old sugar ball is never-ending. But it seems that Kareena does not like her child’s each move being monitored.

At the India Today Conclave 2018, Kareena opened up about the media attention that Taimur gets. “I do not like the fact that every day, Taimur’s moves are being monitored and you know, pictures are being out, what he’s doing, what he’s wearing, discussing his hairstyle… I mean, he’s just 14 months old. But I don’t know how to stop it; they are just following him around,” she said.

While in conversation with senior journalist Rajdeep Sardesai on ‘The Kapoor Clan: Films, Family and Feminism’ with her sister actor Karisma Kapoor at the India Today Conclave, Kareena further added, “I think he is getting used to it because off late, if I compare his pictures, he has started posing.” Karisma Kapoor chimed in, “He looks right into the camera now.” ALSO READ: Taimur Ali Khan Just Returned From Rajasthan, Did You Notice This In His Pics?

In 2016, soon after Bollywood power couple Kareena and Saif Ali Khan decided on calling their first child, Taimur, people on social media started questioning the choice of name. “There was a lot of trolling, but there was also an immense amount of support. Not that the trolls mattered, because the night before I was going to the hospital, Saif asked me, ‘If it’s a boy, are you sure you want to do this? Let’s change the name and call him Faiz. It’s more poetic and romantic.’ And I was like, no. If it’s a boy, I want my son to be a fighter. Taimur means ‘iron’ and I will produce Iron Man. I am proud to name him Taimur,” Kareena told Rajdeep Sardesai.

The Jab We Met actress also talked about how motherhood had changed her life. “My life is no more my own. My heart no more beats inside me. It beats in this gorgeous-looking boy that I sleep next to every night and everything is in his two tiny little hands,” Kareena said. Watch this space for further updates.
