In a recent shocking turn of affairs, Bollywood producer Karim Morani tested positive for COVID-19 after his daughters were found positive with the virus erlier. While Zoa Morani is admitted to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai and sister Shaza is in Nanavati Hospital, their dad Karim has also been shifted to an isolation ward in the latter. Taking to his Instagram handle, Bollywood celebrity photographer, Viral Bhayani shared the news. His caption read, “The Morani’s — the powerful family behind the biggest Bollywood shows around the world for over three decades are under severe stress. Few days back #karimmorani two daughter #zoyamorani and #shazamorani tested positive and now Karim too has been tested positive and has been shifted to Nanavati Hospital. Currently, Zoa is admitted to Kokilaben Ambani Hospital in Mumbai, while sister Shaza is in Nanavati Hospital. They are currently placed in the isolation ward and getting the required treatment. Karim’s wife and other staff have tested negative. After his daughters, singer Kanika Kapoor and actor Purab Kohli, this is the latest coronavirus case in Bollywood.



In an interview with PTI, Karim’s brother Mohammed Morani confirmed the news. He shared, “Karim bhai has tested positive. The results came this morning. He will be in Nanavati for the treatment. His wife and other staff from the house have tested negative. Both Shaza and Zoa are doing fine. Shaza will undergo two tests again.”

Shaza, who had returned from Sri Lanka in the first week of March and Zoa, who had returned from Rajasthan around mid-March, tested positive for COVID-19 on April 6.
