Kesha cancels concert amid legal battle with Dr. Luke

The 28-year-old songstress claims that she is disappointed to have pulled out of the show, which was due to take place on February 26 at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois, reports News 24.com. Later, a statement was released that said that the ‘Tik Tok’ singer has expressed her disappointment over having to cancel, but she feels that this is the best decision for her at this time. Meanwhile, responding to the hype created over a footage of 2011 deposition, wherein Kesha was heard stating that Dr. Luke never made sexual advances at her, her lawyer released a statement saying that Dr. Luke threatened her. The statement read, “Dr. Luke threatened her and her mother. Only after going to rehab and undergoing intense therapy was Kesha strong enough to stand up to this monster.”
