Fan of Sony Tv’s prime time show Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi were disappointed after reports of the show going off air began to make buzz. It was said that the telly show will be replaced by Peshwa Bajirao, a period show based on the brave Maratha warrior. The show is a spin off of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s superhit hit Bajirao Mastani, starring Ranveer Singh, Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone. The promo teaser of the show was released recently and it looks quite interesting. Peshwa Bajirao is touted to be aired in the next year and is likely to replace Dev (Shaheer Sheikh) and Sonakshi (Erica Fernandes)’s love story.
But when Sony Tv was asked about this drastic step, they rejected all the reports. In fact they revealed that the channel has no such plans in mind. Indian Express has quoted a source saying, “Kuch Rang is one of our best shows. It is doing great on the TRP charts and also has a dedicated fan following. People love the characters. There’s no question of ending the show.” As far as the new show is concerned, the channel is yet to decide the time and telecast date of Peshwa Bajrao. The teaser has been shown on the television for some time now to catch the audience reaction and response.
Further talking about the historical show, the source added, “It is a historical series and hence won’t come on prime time. It will most probably be at early prime time slot. It is not replacing Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi.” Sony Tv’s Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi is one of the popular show of the channel. It stars some of the popular star cast and is a family drama that interests the viewers.
